2018 Audi A4 Gets More Sport and Safety Options, Including Black Optics Package

Although only one model year removed from its generational update, the 2018 Audi A4 is getting some new tricks. This includes making some once-optional features standard, reshuffling package options, and a new visual pack that makes the car look more aggressive. While small, these features certainly add up!

You can now opt for either FWD with Ultra or Quattro AWD on all three trim levels on the 2018 A4 (2017 models didn’t offer FWD on the Prestige). Entry-level models remain more-or-less the same, but the Premium Plus trim now gets Audi Side Assist with pre sense rear standard, when it once required opting into the pricy Tech package. Also available is the new Black Optics package, which adds even more unique styling cues such as red brake calipers that go great with the S-Line exterior of the top two trims.

The rest of the A4 remains the same, which is to say it’s one of the most technologically-advanced sport sedans on the market. If you’ve been eyeing this model, contact our Audi dealership in Danbury, CT whenever it’s convenient to schedule a test drive.
